Easter

Some of you may remember last Easter, when the Easter Bunny forgot about our family until like 10pm on Saturday night...so Colby ended up with a handmade paper basket and the kids got some...interesting stuff that grocery stores have left on their shelves right before they close on the night before Easter. This year, the Easter Bunny was PREPARED!

Not only did he leave a super massive yarn train for the kids to follow, where they finally found their Easter baskets in the dryer, but he actually got them some cool stuff, and Colby got his whole own basket!

After the Easter baskets were found, we hid some eggs that grandma KD sent. Colby's just got tossed around the floor for him to pick up, and the others kids' eggs were hid in harder spots. Colby didn't want to put his eggs in his basket, so he kept trying to stuff them all in his little snack cup, but then he was getting mad that they wouldn't all fit. He kept shoving them and shoving them every which way. He just could not understand that concept that you can't stuff more than 2 eggs in a teeny tiny tupperware snack cup.

Finally we got him a larger bowl to put them in, and that seemed to make him happy.

We even had Easter grass instead of paper that the Easter Bunny borrowed from our paper shredded. Definitely a notch up from last year!

We attended church and then came home and had a nice relaxing day. It was so nice to have Andy home and available to help with stuff!
