More Palisade

When we were getting ready to go home, my mom handed me a mini Baby Ruth, and I let Kylee hold it. Big mistake! She promptly bit the end until the melted chocolate came out. She was plenty happy with her Capri Sun and candy bar. That's how you can tell we're on vacation. My supposed healthy habits for Kylee go down the tubes.

Q: What do you call three toddlers in a pack 'n play? A: CRAZY BABIES!!

Andy and I wanted to go out in a canoe, and Kylee had been trying to fall asleep in my arms for the past 1/2 hour, so I put her in the pack 'n play and left her. When we got back about 45 minutes later, my sister told me that she just sat in there the whole time jabbering to herself. I figured since she was having so much fun, I might as well leave her there longer. Then the cousins wanted to join her, so they had a baby party.

Outside Excursion

Last week I went to the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point with my sisters-in-law. I really wanted to take a cute picture of Kylee with all the flowers, but she did not think it was such a great idea. This picture is about take 3.

And Take Four....

And Take Five....
Finally I got her to look straight on and hold still, but she wouldn't smile. She looks like a goober! Oh well. We'll just have to go back again sometime, if we can ever get another sunny day!

Tulip Festival

After awhile I gave up taking pictures of Kylee since she wasn't being cooperative, and decided to just take pictures of the pretty scenery. It was the perfect day to go. The one sunny day we've had in awhile! I could have stayed all day.

Tulip Festival

Branson and Kylee had fun running back and forth across the bridge. They thought they were so funny chasing after each other.

We tried to get all the kids to look for a picture, but they were too distracted.

And yet again, another failed attempt at a cute picture! This ones not TOO bad, but she wouldn't stay seated.

Walking in Dad's Shoes

Kylee loves shoes. Whenever it looks like anyone might be considering going anywhere, she runs for her shoes. The other day, we got her all dressed and we were getting ready to go outside. I told her to go get her shoes. This is what I found when I came back out into the hall. It turns out that we had left her shoes next-door at grandma's house, so she found the closest available pair!
Then, a few days later, I caught her at the bottom of the stairs with my purse and Rachel's shoes. She can't walk in them AT ALL, so I don't understand her interest in putting them on all the time!
