Kylee tuned SEVEN in January, which is crazy to me. I don't know where the time goes! She's doing great in school and loves second grade. She's at the top of her class in everything, and her teacher says she tried really hard to include everyone and reach out to kids who don't have as many friends. I appreciate that she is such a sweet girl! Of course, at home when it comes to chores it's a different story...but we're working on it. No kid likes chores!
Skyler insisted he needed to be in her birthday photo, and she didn't mind. She's really good about sharing things with him.
She wanted a Hello Kitty cake, so we made this. It was the first time in her life she wasn't petrified of the candles, and she blew them out by herself with no crying, so it's a huge step forward over prior years!
The elementary school did a 50s day a couple of weeks ago, so Kylee wore my old poodle skirt and I thought she looked really cute.
For her birthday she got a new bike, and she and her friends pretty much cruise the neighborhood non-stop. It's great that they love to be outside so much!
